Offered for sale is the very rare antique octagonal brass 18th century Brass UNIVERSAL EQUINOCTIAL SUNDIAL, 2" wide, ,hour ring divided III-XII-IX and 3-12-9 on the inside, with inset compass, engraved floral motif, silvered four-point compass SE, OR, ME, OC, with cities' latitudes engraved on the reverse. #CRE 97

This Augsburg-Type Octagonal Universal Equinoctial Dial, c. 1770 manufactured probably by Ludians Theodor Muller, engraved brass with inset compass, with upper surface with hinged latitude arc and hour ring, in good working order.
