Antique Muller Augsberg Universal Equinoctial Sundial


Offered for sale is the very rare antique octagonal LUDWIG THEODOR MULLER (c.1710-1770) 18th century UNIVERSAL EQUINOCTIAL SUNDIAL, signed L.T.M. (Ludians Theodor Muller), 2 1/4" wide, ,hour ring divided III-XII-IX and 3-12-9 on the inside, engraved floral motif, silvered four-point compass SE, OR, ME, OC, with citie's latitudes engraved on the reverse.

This Augsburg-Type Octagonal Universal Equinoctial Dial, c. 1770 manufactured probably by Ludians Theodor Muller, engraved brass with inset compass, with upper surface with hinged latitude arc and hour ring, in good working order.
